What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers work by replacing the hyaluronic acid that naturally exists in our body, and which gradually declines over time as we age.
Administered by injecting anatomical areas, they help give back what the face as lost or never had, shaping the face, adding volume, and reducing lines to create a softer, rejuvenated appearance.
At the clinic we use Stylage®, this product is a premium & innovative cross-linked injectable dermal filler that contains Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and antioxidants.
The dermal filler naturally dissolves as the body absorbs the HA, but results should last for 3 – 12 months, depending on the area injected.

The Procedure
The Results
Results are often immediate, and you can see the full effect once any swelling subsides. There is minimal downtime, but you may experience temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection sites.
Downtime
Nurse Hannah will give you specific aftercare instructions, which will include avoiding strenuous exercise for 24-hours.
The results
Each treatment typically takes between 30 – 40 minutes with some swelling or bruising visible around the site of injection.
Swelling can occur for 2 – 4 weeks, with some bruising lasting up to 1 – 2 weeks.
Dermal fillers are not permanent. The duration of results varies person to person, most last from six – twelve months. Please note that you may need follow up treatments to maintain the desired look.

Nurse Hannah is a highly experienced General Practice Nurse and independent prescriber with 17 years in the NHS. With a background in aesthetic medicine—having trained at the Royal Society of Medicine and worked with top rhinoplasty surgeon Charles East—she remains committed to ongoing professional development and also teaches fellow medics in the field.
At her clinic, Azimzadeh Aesthetics, she takes a “skin first” approach, focusing on improving skin health before other treatments. Known for her natural results, attention to symmetry, and subtle enhancements, Nurse Hannah prioritizes safety, effectiveness, and long-term outcomes over quick fixes.

The FAQs
Mild discomfort may be felt at the time of the injection but this is kept to a minimum. We use topical numbing cream on some areas, however the filler contains lidocaine so will numb as the procedure takes place.
